HAPPY EASTER!
Another spring has come and Easter with her.
It is a little special Easter I would say that of this year.
It's the Easter of the pandemic lockdown for Covid 19!
It is the Easter of solitude, an infinite solitude.
It is 2020 and man stops his habits, stops his life, but does not stop time. It flows, flows in its unstoppable rhythm In which nature takes its course, plants are dressed in leaves, flowers bloom, the sea relaxes its waves and the sky is colored with a blue that only the spring of Sicily can to donate. Scopello shines with its proud and bursting nature, limpid and vivid.
In this spring in Tenute Plaia do not hear the comings and goings of the suitcases, the delicate chatter of those who with a glass of wine in hand organize the daily visits, the children who run around in the square, and above all do not feel the serenity in the air, that feeling of collective peace that envelops and inspires you.
No perfume comes out of the kitchen and the sounds of the dishes are not heard, the coffee machine is turned off, Enzo's voice is not heard explaining Sabrina's dish of the day, or that of Nunziella who welcomes guests and accompanies them in the usual tour to discover Tenute Plaia, there is no Giusi and his way go to the restaurant to accompany customers or mark reservations, there is no Rosa, Maria, Grazia… ....
Everything is stopped, everything is silence!
Sixteen years ago Tenute Plaia opened at Easter and since then our Easter has always been with our guests!
Planning, cooking, setting, entertaining and celebrating with you has been beautiful and an important part of our life!
We miss you all, we miss our collaborators and we miss our guests!
