Farm in the heart of Sicily, between Trapani and Palermo

Surrounded by the blue sea and a green fragrant garden, the farm Tenute Plaia is the ideal place for those who appreciate a holiday in contact with the simple and genuine nature, to relive the smells and the  tastes of the past.

The farm has the typical structure of “bagli” of Trapani, with a large central courtyard around which the different environments are developed. The patios and the terraces overlooking the wonderful view of the sea, allow guests to stay pleasantly to the open air. All rooms are tastefully decorated, with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar and telephone.

The tradition is also in the  restaurant we serve typical local dishes such as caponata, stuffed dried tomatoes, pasta “busiate” with sauce, basil and aubergines, sardines “a beccafico” using only products of our farm. The farm produces some excellent wines made from native grapes such as Tirsi Grillo, chosen by star as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Brad Pitt, guests of our farm during the filming of "Ocean's Twelve". Wine production combines with the culinary specialties of the house.

Many facilities are available to leisure guests such as: toys for children, table tennis, mountain bike, fitness equipment. The farm can accommodate guests with disabilities. Very interesting is the small swimming pool with Jacuzzi where you can take a relaxing bath en plain air. A few hundred meters from our hotel you can find the extraordinary uncontaminated sea of Scopello: here it’s extraordinary to let the waves cares you.

Thanks to its central location, the farm Tenute Plaia is an ideal base to reach various tourist attractions in western Sicily.
